Techvideoblog.com have posted a video interviewing EvilDragon, one of the co-creators of the Pandora. The interviewer seems a bit sceptical about the Pandora for the first half of the interview but EvilDragon kept his cool and answered the questions very well and the interviewer started to warm up. Wiz 'd-pad' buttons to be replaced with 4 proper buttons
Wiz 'd-pad' buttons to be replaced with 4 proper buttons
| Posted By:

@ Sep 2 2008, 03:17 PM |
Some great news today as EvilDragon has managed to persuade Gamepark Holdings to change the design of the Wiz from a d-pad style button design to four proper buttons. The d-pad design was not favoured much by the public, and actual players at the IFA exhibition added fuel to the fire with the majority disliking it due to not being able to press opposite directions on the pad. GPH have confirmed the new button design will be used, also another complaint from the public was a 2.5mm headphone jack was going to be used, this will now be replaced with a 3.5mm one.
These changes will unfortunately result in a 30 day delay of release which will now be around November, but its small price to pay for a big improvement I think! Like many other people, these were my only dislikes of the Wiz so it is great to see GPH actually taking notice and acting on it. You can read EvilDragons news in full here.

DS Flash carts Deals of the Week

I just noticed on DealExtreme that a few DS flash carts were on special offer this week. In particular the TopToy DS (TTDS) cart which we reviewed a short while ago. You can purchase it by itself for just $18.99 or a TTDS with 1GB Kingston SD for $23.92, or a TTDS with 2GB Kingston SD for $25.63. You can read our review of the TTDS here, it is a great cart and at this price, great value for money.
They also have the iTouch Multimedia Flash for $19.61, we have not reviewed this cart but have heard its not so great. In better news is that you can purchase the M3 DS Real + Rumble Pack, it has a Chinese menu, can be flashed to english if I remember right. Also available is M3 DS Real Deluxe MicroSD/TF Cart for $44.90, you can read our review of the G6 Real (different name) here. Personally, out of all the deals, I would go for the TTDS as it is still fully supported by the makers and has many features.
